Don’t mess around with your goals. Regularly assess your progress, reassess the program you are following, & make sure that every aspect of your off-season training is there to help you.
Here is a list of the 8 mistakes I talk about in Episode 4:
- Skipping warm-up more often than not
- Not following a plan, training however & whenever
- Feeling like I need to “switch it up” every week to “keep my muscles guessing”
- Not taking baseline movement and fitness assessments, and reassessing regularly
- Not phasing my program appropriately throughout the off-season
- Too much yoga
- Focused on fads & gimmicks over foundations
- Not enough unilateral work
